Description
Rockport's famed Motif #1 is thought to be the most photographed site in Massachusetts--possibly all of New England. The historic fishing shack at harbors edge attracts tourists and photographers from around the world. Lobster traps stacked nearby and colorful buoys hanging against the bright red wall of the shack capture the eye. Motif #1 is frequently pictured on puzzles, calendars, and travel brochures. This nostalgic image of a quintessential New England Lobster Shack makes the perfect conversational wall art for home, office, fishing hut or cabin.
Image captured with a Canon 50D & a Canon EF-S 15-85 f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens.

It's funny how living in the area it sometimes takes a life time to realize the beauty surrounding you. I vacationed as a teen in Rockport, walked right by until I realized to look up and appreciate the art around us. I love the unique monochrome edit of this iconic image! Well done Stephen!
